Frames with a Twist

My Story

I have always loved creating things but never dreamed that I would make it into a business let alone having such a unique product. It all started with Covid believe it or not. While off from work I was redecorating my house. Painting was a must and I needed to do the molding so I took off my door to the bedroom to make it easier and noticed how the hinges curved under and thought “Humm, I think I have something.” Within a week (once all the painting was done) I started working on my first hinged frame. While I thought it was adorable I wasn’t sure others would so I started giving them as gifts to see reactions from my friends and family. It was unanimous! You have to sell these! There was also the fact that I had probably 50 frames made and my husband finally said that we need to figure out where to sell these. It took me probably until the next spring to get my stock up to where I could sell them at a creative market in town. I have now quit my job and started my way through this full time. I have also recreated my frames a number of times but still hold true to the hinge on most of them. I have branched out to hanging frames and home decor as well.
